Syngonanthus chrysanthus 'Mikado'
Syngonanthus chrysanthus 'Mikado'® or simply Mikado is a Dutch cultivar from a little grass from Brazilian coastal plains.

It's a cute little plant that grows in a rosette of about 8 cm in diameter with leaves of about 10 cm long and flowers up to 20 cm height.

The flowers appear on top of stalks, first as a golden bud then as creamy white buttons. Flowering takes place all year round. Dried flower stalks can be removed easily.

It's a marsh plant so you need to keep it wet at all times. It is also suitable for a paludarium or terrarium.
